Oxford University Press seeks an enthusiastic and motivated candidate for the position of Marketing Coordinator in the US ELT Department. The ideal candidate will execute marketing and sales campaigns for our ELT products and services. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and time-management skills as the position involves working on several projects simultaneously. They should be a strong team player with a positive attitude and approach to their work. This role is the perfect opportunity for candidates with an interest in marketing who are looking to further their knowledge and experience within a prestigious publishing company. • Assist the Marketing Manager in the development, planning and implementation of effective marketing campaigns • Analysis and reporting on marketing campaigns • Work closely with a variety of colleagues across the business to meet campaign and sales objectives • The creation of advertisements (print and online), marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, catalogs) email campaigns and online marketing campaign landing pages. • Assist in the organization of events such as customer product trainings, conferences presentations and exhibits • Coordinate and develop social media marketing activities • Work with global marketing colleagues to ensure coordination of collateral, social media, author outreach and global marketing plans for key/lead titles and series Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. Requirements • BA/BS degree required or equivalent work experience with 1+ year’s related experience in marketing, publicity or sales with a broad understanding of marketing. Experience contributing to marketing campaigns, with the ability to prioritize in a busy environment, and quickly learn a range of IT systems. • Experience working with global teams a plus. • Requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills with a “can-do” attitude. • Experience preferably in publishing, and/or ELT. • Must be able to balance a variety of responsibilities and handle many projects simultaneously, efficiently, and accurately. You embrace change, are positive under pressure and enjoy the support of an interactive team. • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite • Experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and social media platforms preferred. • Must have willingness to travel 5-10%. • Job requires physical ability to lift boxes of books. |
