RaceChip is the world leading automotive chiptuning company. We develop and market high-tech performance enhancements for more than 60 automotive manufacturers and over 3,000 vehicles. Today, a mere 10 years after our foundation in Germany, we sell in excess of 100,000 chiptuning products p.a. in more than 135 countries globally. This incredible success is based on the skills, motivation and creativity of our team.

Recently, we decided to go local in the USA. We will start with a small yet powerful team of automotive enthusiasts, and subsequently search for new colleagues with the same Start up mind set and hands on mentality, to help us build up RaceChip Americas.

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Representative USA (m/f) to join our Team in California (LA area). In this role, you will be the key person responsible for all our Sales and Marketing activities across the USA.

With your Sales & Marketing expertise, innovative customer focused solutions, and hands on mentality you will be a decisive factor in shaping RaceChip’s US business.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Conceptualize and drive RaceChip’s Sales & Marketing activities in the US, in close collaboration with the creative teams in Germany, including:
    • Create ongoing social media and content strategies and oversee their implementation
    • Management of RaceChip’s print advertising, media content and packaging
    • Create videos for product support and training
    • Create written content including press releases
  • Represent RaceChip at strategic partners, B2B customers and trade shows
    • Organize representation at trade shows and other events
    • Travel regularly to visit Jobbers, WDs, Trade Shows and other appropriate events as and when necessary (some weekends required)
  • Effectively communicate with the local team and RaceChip headquarters to ensure success in achieving the overall Sales Team goals
  • Perform all other duties as required

Your skill-set

  • An automotive enthusiast with a passion for cars, tuning and performance
  • You successfully completed your High School or GED qualifications; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • First relevant work experience in the field of Sales & Marketing (most preferably within the automotive industry)
  • Digital media expertise: Familiar with Web, Facebook, Forums & Online Blogs
  • Solid understanding of performance/ general automotive modifications and general understanding of mechanics and electronics
  • Existing relationships with automotive industry influencers and decision makers are a plus
  • You have an outgoing personality and excellent communication and social skills, as well as a structured and diligent way of working
  • You have a great deal of self-motivation and are passionate about building RaceChip USA
