We are looking for a marketing coordinator to help us in our endeavor to grow + with the following experience:
3-5 years’ experience in managing the response process for rfq, rfp and interview prep
Requires superb writing skills, spelling, proofing and a good eye for graphic design
Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative suite, Microsoft office and importing image files and drawings as required for a proposal, interview boards or a power point.
Demonstrates knowledge in strategic alliance and in strategically setting up our team
Proven success in setting up + maintaining a schedule for deadlines. This includes managing the collateral requirements with the team
Previous experience in the Architecture / Engineering / Construction industry is preferred
Self-starter – can set your own internal deadlines to meet the demands of a print shop and fed ex.

richärd + bauer’s Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the design, development, and implementation of internal and external marketing strategies including brochures, advertising, social media strategy, digital publications, proposals, other collateral materials as required, assisting with interview preparation, and organizing events. Website maintenance, understanding of word press, ability to keep the website fresh, in top-working condition, updating content management and imagery as needed.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for content coordination, writing, graphics coordination, formatting and on-time delivery of proposal and award submissions. Ensure all proposals are in alignment with richärd + bauer’s brand standards, high-quality graphics, and firm message.
In addition, the Marketing Coordinator would maintain and manage all proposal and marketing databases, track pursuits, opportunities and prepare reports from them. They would also maintain relevant proposal and marketing materials and help with BD/Marketing stratagem.
Skills and Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related area, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience managing proposal efforts and marketing strategy/promotions in an architecture/engineering/construction, AEC related field
Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
Ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
Excellent skills in time management
Understand how to set and maintain schedules required to meet deliverables and deadlines
Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows Explorer
Proficiency in the use of desktop publishing software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers and clients, internally and externally
Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing best practices
Ability to work effectively within a group with 'team spirit' as well as independently motivated with minimal supervision
A willingness to learn and work above and beyond
Ongoing training may involve professional development courses
Overall Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination, design, layout, content, and production of assigned collateral materials including proposals, business templates, and digital/printed brochures
Update resumes’ and project pages
Create and maintain MS PowerPoint presentations
Assist in writing targeted content for proposals and correspondence including creating templates, and preparing client letters
Prepare award submittals, manage all submissions, coordinate timelines, keep a calendar of submission dates, and meet deadlines
Coordinate, manage and execute large client events including sponsorships
Coordinate, organize, and manage professional photography shoots on job sites
Understanding and experience in creating, executing, and managing a targeted client survey, ability to assemble feedback loop, synthesize information and develop a plan of action
Data entry, filing, and developing reports as required
Update social media regularly/help fine-tune our social media plan
Assist in preparation of design reports and presentations
Assist in minor business development efforts (data-mining and understanding clients’ needs)
Ability to assist BD in conducting external research for pursuits and strategic plans
Demonstrated success in assembling and completion of SF330’s
Contribute questions to clarify solicitation
Conduct win strategy and kick-off meeting(s)
Document expectations (assignments and schedule)
Develop proposal outline and schedule
Search/extract relevant project descriptions and/or personnel resumes for inclusion in the proposal
Coordinate PD resources/processes, including graphics with BD and other team members, technical editor review, QA/QC review
