The Marketing and Communications department of Stanford GSB seeks a Marketing Manager. Under the guidance of senior management, participates in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, enabling programs, services, events and/or products to meet business objectives. Vendor management. Drives cross-functional collaboration across the organization. The purpose of this position is to manage execution of strategic marketing initiatives on behalf of GSB department clients. This role is responsible for managing direct response activities, project plans, creative projects, and communications for a portfolio of Executive Education Programs.
Duties include: general marketing/sales support, project management, copy control, trafficking creative, working with external vendors and partners, helping support the team administratively, and working with the CRM database on data integrity, data exports, and reporting.

Your primary responsibilities include:
Recommend and execute marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
Manage marketing plans/programs to meet business objectives, including collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendor partners.
Implement integrated marketing communications and brand strategy across a variety of channels (i.e., digital and print).
Oversee design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment.
Conduct market research, including competitive benchmarking, and analyze campaign/program/ service/event effectiveness used to inform decisions regarding strategic marketing direction, product segmentation, and customer targeting.
Assess market opportunities and track market trends. Recommend marketing improvements based on findings.
Plan and execute events to support marketing objectives.
Manage vendors/consultants on specific projects.
Manage project/program budget(s) and coordinate invoice processing.
May oversee interns and other contingent staff; provide staff training.
Deploy and support a large volume of direct response campaigns. Campaigns range in complexity and involve various stakeholders and clients.
Create project timelines, participate in project kickoffs, provide project details required for development and execution of both email and postal project, and manage projects daily ensuring all projects meet their deadlines.
Traffic all creative assets from creation to deployment in campaigns. Archive all creative assets post deployment.
Actively participate in process improvements that impact marketing or marketing operations, actively participate during the business review cycle and planning cycles with regards to data collection and reporting.

Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Previous experience in product, program, and/or services marketing.
Ability to drive cross-functional groups toward a common goal.
Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understands how to implement integrated marketing programs across channels, including digital and print.
Experience with market research and data analysis.
Demonstrated problem solver.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
Ability to think creatively and problem solve while managing complex programs.
Experience in Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and/or email technology.
Strong partnership marketing experience working with a diverse set of constituencies.
Direct Marketing, Marketing Services Agency, B2B marketing experience preferred.
