The ideal candidate will have strong generalist marketing experience at an Asset Manager.
This role will thread a line through the entire marketing life cycle; digital, comms, writing, agencies, sales, product specialist, etc. The Candidate must have strong English and German language skills. Experience of German Markets and the German Banks and Advisory channel, as well as creating materials for German and Swiss Sales Teams is a preferred.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Develop and manage all areas of the marketing mix for all distribution channels * Provide marketing support to the German and Swiss sale teams * Implement advertising plan and manage external relationships * Build strong relationships with the German and Swiss Sales team * Oversee and manage regular reviews of regional website content to ensure fund information and promotional campaigns are up-to-date * Supporting the Head of European Channel Marketing * Regional budget allocation, management, recording and reporting.
* 4/5 years' marketing experience within financial services. * Good Knowledge of German and French (Both written & verbal) * Excellent knowledge of the asset management industry and mutual funds. * Strong understanding of the UK and European markets and the main distribution channels and clients * Strong relationships with conference organisers, agencies and platforms and with marketing managers from peer organisations. * Strong project management skills. * Excellent understanding of marketing production process (including Compliance) and knowledge of e-commerce. * IMC qualification desirable (but not essential)
