The purpose of this position is to assure the profitability and growth of the Parker Adventist Hospital through strategic marketing and effective external communications that support the business initiatives of assigned facility and Centura Health. This position is responsible for helping to achieve the strategic vision and business goals of Centura entities through a comprehensive integrated marketing and communications program. This position is an integral part of the hospital leadership team, providing counsel in marketing and communications.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors Arts/Science Degree in Journalism, English, Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or other related field. Master's degree, preferred
Minimum Experience Requirements
Five years of marketing/public relations experience, including demonstrated success in strategic marketing planning and implementation with proven results. 1 year of management experience, preferred Proficient in Microsoft Windows platform, including: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Health care experience is desirable

■ Works with management to develop comprehensive marketing, communications, public relations and media relations programs and budget to support assigned facility, group, and system-wide strategic vision, initiatives and business goals, focusing on maintaining positive relationships with associates, physicians, patients and communities to ensure growth and profitability of the organization. Implements marketing plans, using a wide variety of integrated marketing tactics to best achieve business goals.*
■ Develops and maintains content for advertising, collateral materials, web sites, direct marketing, e-business initiatives. Coordinates with Director of Community and PR on public relations and media relations opportunities.
■ Works to further digital and interactive marketing initiatives, including video production, web site strategies, mobile strategies, SEO and SEM. Exercises excellent oral and written communication skills in dealing with both internal and external markets.*
■ Adheres to policies pertaining to confidentiality and release/disclosure of sensitive or proprietary information.*
