Our client is one of the world's leading providers of Risk & Compliance solutions to the Financial Services industry.
Currently looking to expand their Marketing team, an exiting opportunity has now become available for a Senior Field Marketing Manager.
The Senior Field Marketing Manager, EMEA drives the development and delivery of field marketing activities to generate and nurture sales leads, at the regional level. This involves generating leads, managing conferences & seminars, tradeshows, direct mail campaigns, lead tracking and reporting, product launches, generation of relevant content for the website, and oversight of EMEA contact data in the company database.
Reporting to the VP Global Marketing, the successful candidate will work closely with the regional Sales and Market Management teams, as well as the Solution & Content Marketing team, to understand the desired results of field marketing activities and manage execution accordingly.
Develops and manages a focused regional field marketing program for events & seminars, direct mail campaigns, webinars, etc. Campaigns and wider marketing programs are developed and executed in close collaboration with the solution & content marketing team, to integrate and align.
Acts as the "face of marketing in the region" and leads the liaison with the regional management team.
Proactively builds and manages marketing relationships with sales partners in the region.
Liaises with EMEA sales leadership team to ensure pre-event support, follow-up for direct mail campaigns and after events, sales staffing at events, etc.
Develops logistics for a range of activities and problem-solves issues arising up to and during the activity. Responsible for successful execution of major regional events & tradeshows, including setting targets, providing assistance with development of conferences or seminars, taking leadership of logistics, and measuring success of event.
Conducts negotiations, e.g. with event suppliers or other 3rd parties to secure most advantageous terms & conditions for our company.
Acts as regional lead for data management, lead nurturing, and reporting projects.
Implements, tracks and measures results of marketing tactics and programs as they pertain to the region. Assists the business with classification of leads and ensures generated contacts are entered into the CRM system and handed over to sales for follow-up systems in a timely manner.
Leads on local marketing copy; understands campaign requirements and translates into actionable copy for emails, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
Manages promotional budget for EMEA.
Manages the daily operations of EMEA field marketing staff. Provides clear leadership and guidance to staff. Identifies resource requirements, recommends organizational structure and ensure adequate resourcing for required tasks.
Effectively communicates sensitive or controversial information. Trains and guides others where information is conceptually intricate and detailed. Coaches and counsels others.
Masters or Bachelor degree from accredited university in business, marketing or a related discipline
Several years experience in the high-tech industry (preferably financial services software industry)
Advanced writing and editing skills, as well as presentation skills
Ability to understand complex business problems
Solid understanding of industry and business issues
Attention to detail.
HTML editor and web publishing
Graphics/image application (e.g. Adobe, PaintShop Pro, PhotoShop) (as needed)
Fundamental understanding of Finance, Risk & Compliance products and solutions.
Advanced experience with MS office programs, in particular Word, PPT, and Excel.
Previous knowledge with marketing automation tools like Eloqua and SAP CRM systems, direct marketing and demand generation program development are an advantage.
Fluent in English (written and orally). Additional languages considered an advantage.
