As our Marketing Account Manager you will be expected to manage the marketing efforts for your portfolio of apartment communities and to motivate the on-site team execute strategic initiatives at each property. Additionally, you will be the brand steward for Alliance Residential, develop creative and targeted communication plans, and be a daily point of contact for our vendors, clients and internal Associates. While overseeing a variety of marketing programs, the Marketing Account Manager will ensure effective project management and client expectations are met for all deliverables.
The Key Responsibilities. Take the lead in daily project management of accounts and communicate directly with clients on project updates and recommendations.
Work with Marketing Account Specialist (MAS) on various tasks such as social media posting, schedule creation, project management, asset collection, stock photography, etc.
Conduct market/audience research in an effort to draft the creative brief and property marketing/business plans (including marketing campaigns and lease-up strategies).
Monitor community marketing initiatives in accordance with the strategic plan and adjust based on specific needs to maximize traffic and closing performance.
Provide guidance and learning opportunities to the MAS and Marketing Coordinators through project participation and client interaction.
Assist with content development for online advertising efforts and work with the Internet Specialist and MAS to ensure all online efforts are fully optimized (websites, Craigslist, ILS', etc.).
Create content, set up accounts and maintain email marketing campaigns as needed.
Review and monitor campaign performance to ensure all efforts meet the outlined strategy.
Coordination with internal graphic design and MAS on property collateral material (ensuring due dates are met consistently).
Proofread marketing materials in preparation for digital, video or print production.
Draft and manage social media campaigns as needed.
Audit online efforts weekly to ensure content is consistent and accurate.
The Basics. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs that include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and take initiative while contributing to the overall success of the Alliance marketing department and team.
Effectively organize, prioritize and time manage workload.
Maintain discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information.
