| Database Manager is responsible for ensuring database integrity to effectively provide data that can be accessed for mailing and analytical purposes. To manage the overall systems, procedures, and communication involving data capturing and maintenance of PVA’s marketing databases. |
-Serve as main point of contact for communication between PVA, its’ database provider (Team Approach) and all of its vendors, agencies and other partners.
-Create master schedule of due dates for aspects concerned with the database (i.e., select instructions, file tapes to production vender, suppression tapes, regression counts, acquisition schedule, etc.).
-Instruct database provider in submitting, selecting and validating all mail files to ensure names are pulled accurately and mail dates are met. Support the account management team with items relating to data management/report issues.
-Investigate and provide modeling opportunities from internal and external sources for which the development team can better market the PVA donor database. -Responsible for internal data management systems and training of PVA staff on the database for ad hoc queries.
-Develop merge/purge requirements and lot split instructions for acquisition mailings.
