The data-driven individual will be responsible for documenting and understanding the technical and business needs of the platform implementation’s including but not limited to Salesforce CRM, Master Data Management technologies, Data Management Platform, Mobile Technologies, Web Technologies etc.). You will be the subject matter expert, implement best practices, work cross-functionally to ensure solid integrations across various business units, and provide training and support throughout the business.
As a Business Analyst you will serve as the primary liaison between the IT and Digital product owners to analyze business requirements and review documented and approved specifications for any new/change to technology applications; work with the Product Teams, Quality Assurance Team and Development Team to ensure that they understand the specifications to deliver a quality product to the business and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team.
You will analyze the impact of proposed solutions holistically, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews. You will facilitate implementation of new functionality into production.
Key Focus Areas:
CRM & MDM
Leverage expert-level knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform to strategically evolve our marketing automation capabilities
Collaborate with business partners and delivery teams (internal and external) to elicit, develop, document, and manage business and technical requirements
Create user stories, gather requirements, prioritize, and drive feature growth through collaborative SDLC process and vendor partnership as appropriate.
Ability to translate campaign and program strategy into executable programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This often involves taking broad definitions of an audience and identifying the specific fields and values necessary for effective segmentation.
Provide Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation expertise and direction to Marketing teams through consulting, documentation and training
Trains existing users on new CRM processes and other training as required
Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data across various systems
Perform data analysis to ensure data integrity, metadata, data standards and data lineage for MDM data intake processes such as integrating and loading new data sources (internal/external) performing data analysis, data profiling and data quality checks/metrics.
Develop and document data processes working with business data owners and SMEs to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
Business Process Analysis and Design
Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by evaluating current processes and recommending new solutions that reduce costs or extend current capabilities
Deliver complex projects with a focus on speed and outcomes that matter
Directly author supplemental requirement artifacts such as process flows, context diagrams, use cases, and wireframes
Establish meaningful traceability between business requirements, technical requirements, and architecture design which illustrates a deep understanding of business processes and the technology ecosystem
Employ skills in Project management, business analysis, operational excellence and business partnering
Map and illustrate how applications are connected and how data flows throughout the technology ecosystem and understand digital marketing platform integrations with IT systems
Responsible for documenting and illustrating all analysis in an effective manner
Act as a liaison between the business and IT architecture and delivery teams
Interface with business partners, technology resources, architecture, and quality assurance teams to translate and streamline requirements; this role will also ensure requirements are met throughout the entire SDLC or Scaled Agile frameworks
Partner with business partners and quality assurance teams to ensure adequate test coverage; this role will also be responsible for working with the business partners to prioritize functional and regression defects during testing cycles
Passion for marketing technology. This role will lead the enablement, innovation, integration, and architecture of our strategic MarTech stack
Support essential marketing operations in Salesforce ecosystem in conjunction with other team members
Translate data insights into a story that is both compelling and actionable to impact process and business improvement

2 to 3 years of experience performing in the capacity of a Business Analyst or similar role
Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience
Experience with Salesforce Technologies as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Certifications in Salesforce a plus
Thorough understanding of integration technologies such as MuleSoft etc.
Understanding of Customer Master Data Management technologies
Understanding of Data Governance processes, a plus
Demonstrated basic ability to use SQL tools, Excel etc.
Ability to work with Cross functional team’s
Knowledge of various Marketing Technologies and tools
Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and platforms
Understanding of data warehouses and Big Data technologies
Understanding of Mobile & Web technologies is a plus
Experience in applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, setting priorities, planning and independently executing tasks in a structured manner
Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills with ability to tailor communication style based on audience
