This position drives the marketing and events management for the Boston Women's Workforce Council (BWWC), a public-private partnership between the City of Boston and Boston University dedicated to gender pay equity. The BWWC has partnered with over 180 Boston-area employers to create The Boston 100% TalentCompact, a first-in-the-nation, business community-driven effort to level the playing field for working women via data analysis and best practices sharing. This role provides experienced marketing and events management and will be responsible for leading key events, as well as some policy analysis initiatives. The role reports directly to the Executive Director and manages the daily operations of the Council.
Bachelor's in mathematics, political science, women's and gender studies, or business is required as well as 3-5 years' experience. Master's degree in business, analystics or public policy is preferred. Prior experience in local or state government or politics is preferred. Profeiciency in excel is preferred. Familiarity with Constant Contact, Adobe Photoshop, AirTable, and other CRM systems is a plus. Ability to update and maintain a marketing website and social media.
