![]() University of Puget Sound Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing Job ID: 5010 Location: Business & Leadership Full/Part Time: Full-Time Appointment: The University of Puget Sound seeks a full-time, tenure-line Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing to join the School of Business and Leadership in Fall 2020. The School of Business and Leadership teaches business from a Liberal Arts perspective to undergraduates in classes of 10-25 students. Responsibilities: Successful candidates will be strongly committed to teaching undergraduates in a manner that promotes critical thinking, effective written and oral communication, and problem solving. The faculty hired will have primary responsibility for teaching the introductory marketing course and at least two marketing electives per year. Ability to teach the introductory course from an international or global perspective is essential. Preferred areas for the elective courses include marketing communications, consumer behavior, market research, marketing strategy, and marketing analytics. The standard teaching load is three courses per semester. Other duties include continuation of professional development, advising students, and participation in departmental and university governance.
