The Enrollment Marketing Specialist is an integral part of the Enrollment Marketing team that leverages creativity and technology to educate, inform, and engage prospective students, parents, counselors, and others on the benefits and value of an RIT experience. Primary responsibilities are to coordinate the division's social media strategy across a variety of social media platforms. Coordinating with the university's social media team, the Enrollment Marketing Specialist will use management tools, content calendars, and analytics to tell RIT's story on social media. Additionally, she/he works closely with the division's ambassador groups in Undergraduate Admissions and Graduate Enrollment Services to facilitate their engagement with prospective students. The Enrollment Marketing Specialist also manages and develops CRM communications campaigns to deliver multi-channel communications (print, email, SMS, web) to external market audiences and targeted populations to influence enrollment outcomes for key recruitment areas.
Required Minimum Qualifications
3 years experience in marketing, communications, social media strategy
Strong writing and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and more
Experience with performance analytics
Experience with social media advertising
Knowledge of trends, best practices, and technology in social media, digital engagement, and content creation and marketing
Able to demonstrate a knowledge of social media customer service
