Business Development and Marketing Manager: The Business Development Manager will work directly with all DAC departments under the direct supervision of the President of Development. The Business Development Manager must be professional, responsible, highly detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Business Development and Marketing Manager is indirectly responsible for ensuring that designated areas of DAC receive the support necessary to run in a smooth and efficient manner.
Reports to: The Business Development and Marketing Manager reports directly to the President of Development. Quarterly goals will be set cooperatively to insure a clear vision and direction for the Development Department. Authority: Administrative Secretary Job Duties: This is a position moves throughout all departments in the company in order to bring in more business opportunities to the company through all channels of the companies’ network of clients and marketing avenues. Organization and company-wide communication is key for this position. Manages the marketing efforts through a third party to execute our overall marketing goals. Uses a boots on the ground approach to take care of our property management relationships and our properties in our portfolio. This position also works extensively with the accounting department. The duties listed herein are not an exhaustive detailed list, because it would be difficult to list all the duties that the Business Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for. The list below will be the top level of duties. The lower levels will vary as the situation dictates. General Duties: - Resolve administrative problems and inquiries as it pertains to the front desk
- Maintain office supply inventories and coordinate with the office janitorial crew
- File and import accounting documents
- Find Business Development information using online resources
- Assign projects to DAC administrative secretary when appropriate
- Coordinate office events, in an effort to maximize efficiency
- Must be able to competently utilize all DAC software, including all Microsoft Office, Sage, etc.
- Maintain all business licensing from DAF, DAD and DAC.

Marketing Manager General Duties: - Maintain all marketing supplies and materials
- Keep the marketing excel spreadsheet up-to-date
- Insure our properties and services are constantly in reach our customers no matter the media
- Edit marketing photos and videos in InDesign, Photoshop and/or Filmora software
- Update the company website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube channel
- Manage through a third-party professional marketing packages and/or letters as needed
- Manage updating the Company Overview Binder and website on a bi annual schedule
- Manage construction of various specialized newsfeeds on the website, Facebook and LinkedIn page
- Manage the creation of fresh marketing materials, or edit existing pieces in InDesign and/or Photoshop
Development Manager General Duties: - Field all calls from tenants
- Coordinate all repairs and properties maintenance
- Maintain insurance, lease expirations and lease bumps
- Visual inspection of properties once per month
- Review aging report and collect late rent
- Cold Call prospective tenants
- Assist proofing leases
- Assist finalizing quick base
- Assist Accountant for day to day accounting duties and reconciliation
- Collect, post and deposit all rent checks.
- Create customer invoices for rent, late fees, projects, etc as needed.
- Rent Rolls and NNN year-end reconciliations.
- Create estimates and progress billings for construction projects.
- Review and post T&M Billings for properties each month from Construction.
- Review and post all expenses related to properties and development.
- Close out books, reconcile all accounts and review transactions posted each month and provide financial notes as needed.
Procedures: These procedures will be modified as needed. It is the responsibility of The Business Development and Marketing Manager to be fully aware of procedure changes - Adheres to the DAC way
- Will strictly follow company procedures
- Be fully able to use of Outlook in the DAC way, particularly task and calendar features
- Be able to properly use DAC Microsoft Word Branding themes and styles in a such a way to be able to teach others
- Be willing to learn more of DAC’s software to better assist all of DAC
- Be fully able to use all office tools including, telephones, remote access lap tops, copiers, faxes, printers, etc.
