Overview of what you will be doing:
The National Director, Corporate Business Development is actively involved in promoting JSAV’s core values and business philosophy, pursuing new corporate accounts for shows and events throughout the United States for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Outstanding customer service combined with the business savvy necessary to discern customer requirements and convert into winning proposals and contracts.

J&S Audio Visual (JSAV) is an AV event technology company with both a hospitality division that serves over 80 hotels and convention centers, and a Show Services division that delivers over 2500 events annually. Having been around for 35 years, we know a few things when it comes to creating memorable meetings, conferences, and major events. We enable our clients to effectively communicate at their events while focusing on building trust and lasting relationships through professional and personalized service.
What will you be doing specifically?
Identify and pursue leads for Show Services
Develop industry awareness through membership and participation in local chapters of significant industry associations
Identify new prospects through industry research
Maintain critical information itemizing call, email, and contact history
Maintain electronic and print materials for distribution to prospects as needed
Lead RFP Response Team and conduct presentations in pursuit of opportunities
Actively and aggressively pursue leads and close contracts for events incorporating a wide-range of audiovisual, media, staging, and creative elements
Develop Corporate Business Development strategy
Develop national strategy to promote JSAV to national corporate business
Assist the SVP of Sales with developing an industry event strategy
Collaborate on inter-departmental JSAV initiatives
Understand JSAV’s business operations, including specific sales opportunities, our competitive landscape, and technology trends
Liaison with relevant JSAV staff in proposal development for generated leads and track the success ratio of each proposal
Assist with the implementation of public relations programs to promote JSAV
