Simmons is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to continuing to develop a more diverse faculty, staff, student body, and curriculum.Job Summary:Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand and Creative Services (?Senior Director?), the Manager, Enrollment Marketing and Communication (?Manager?), is responsible for executing a sophisticated communication plan with differentiated messaging to multiple populations. The Manager will assure that individual communications contain relevant and up-to-date information, consistently reflect the Simmons brand, and are distributed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role will also keep concise data reports and will also provide analysis on the effectiveness of each communication.The Manager is also responsible for printed materials and templates as well as maintaining records of alumni/ae, students, programs and majors for use in communications. The Manager will work both collaboratively and independently within the office and across the University, and will support University Communications? collaborative efforts to better promote the educational opportunities and reputation of Simmons.The ideal candidate will: maintain a strong customer focus, foster mutual respect, support Simmons University?s commitment to diversity, practice and promote teamwork, perform independently, maintain confidentiality, adhere to high standards of personal conduct and maintain and enhance professional/job competency.Responsibilities:In partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Admission, manage and execute all communications from the Office of Undergraduate Admission to prospective and accepted students, parents, guidance counselors and community members;Develop communications in various formats including, but not limited to, email, letters, publications, postcards and texts;Strategize with Senior Director regarding appropriate content, delivery method, timing, and audience for each communication vehicle;Work with Application Coordinator on inventory management, execution of emails through a CRM database, and coordination of printing and mail house services;Evaluate current trends, student and family expectations with regard to content and delivery method and adjust communication strategy as necessary; Collaborate with external partners and vendors, as well as Simmons Web team, to coordinate digital advertising and Undergraduate Admission web presence;Ensure all communications and messaging is consistent across all platforms, create and implement strategies to ensure consistency is maintained;Monitor social media sites daily and respond directly when appropriate;Coordinate social media posts through student volunteers and employees;Serve as the primary resource for all key messaging and marketing copy for the Undergraduate Admission Office;Responsible for writing and/or updating content for all publications including emails, letters, print collateral, and social media;Develop postcards and simple publications; coordinate closely with external graphic designers and internal stakeholders to edit and develop complex publications. Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree preferred or relevant experience;Admission marketing and/or communications experience preferred with a minimum of two years related professional experience in communications and marketing;Experience managing print and digital publication production with multiple departments and constituents;Experience working with enrollment management or customer relationship management software preferred;Clear and effective writing skills required;Excellent organizational & communication skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
