Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Marketing Analyst for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Marketing Analyst position provides standard and routine marketing and administrative support, which may include word processing, data entry, ordering supplies, reviewing paid and owned marketing initiatives, solving problems independently, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings.
Additionally, the temporary Marketing Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting on performance of digital marketing channels including website, blog, email, social media, organic search, and how each channel can be optimized.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with databases, reporting on data and working in an analytical capacity;
Strong presentational, written and oral communication skills
Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems
Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
Diligent and can work independently;
Experience with visualization tools, web analytics tools and CRM solutions.
1+ years of in digital marketing experience
Possess analytical skills and business acumen and a desire to continually hone them.
Experience with Slate.
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
