As a Marketing Content Writer, you will develop, manage, and audit marketing programs in specific channels. All under the supervision of the Marketing Manager and Senior Management. You will understand the importance of constant and consistent brand marketing and communication designed to support business objectives, grow lead acquisition, foster customer retention, provide sales support collateral, and advance brand building. In this position, you will work closely in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and our clients. Your role will be responsible for spearheading content development, communicating developments to our internal teams, and potentially representing the client professionally in every facet of contact with the client’s supporters (exhibitors, sponsors, and advertisers).
Description of Duties?
The Marketing Content Writer?will?report to the Marketing Manager and Senior Management and?assist
the Marketing Team in:
Research and develop marketing content for successful promotional emails and print campaigns based on research-driven finding from client’s materials, including but not limited to:
Advertiser/attendee/exhibit/sponsor demographics and surveys
Creating content for delivery for client accounts that we are authorized and manage for Twitter posts
Join client LinkedIn pages, Facebook pages, Flickr and YouTube sites to monitor trends being discussed in social media circles to utilize in promotional material
Assisting in assembling content for all prospectuses and any other client marketing materials
Assist in creating client reports based on exhibitor/sponsor/advertiser surveys utilizing MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF portfolios
Qualifications and Skills
The Marketing Content Writer will be familiar with and have a working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications. Also, the willingness and drive to learn new techniques to deliver streamlined processes and organization to the entire team.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or related field
5+ years of knowledge and employment history in the tradeshow industry in marketing content writing
Experience in Social Media Platforms
Salesforce and Pardot experience is a plus-working knowledge of data reporting in a CRM environment
Adobe Acrobat Pro editing abilities and dynamic form creation
Must be passionate in client/customer service and highly self-disciplined
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of tradeshow & convention industry is highly preferred
Outstanding ability to build key customer relationships
Detail-oriented and strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member

Occasional Remote / Home-based work which will require a reliable office space with phone/ internet connection
